David Mullings is a Managing Partner of the Keystone Augusta Group, a single family office which includes investments in companies involved in private equity, mobile apps, clothing, film, energy production and sustainable technology.
He is the author of Social Media for Entrepreneurs, the co-author of Things #Entrepreneurs Say and a co-founder of Random Media, an integrated media and entertainment firm which became YouTube’s first Caribbean media partner in 2008.
Mr. Mullings sits on advisory boards for 8and9 Clothing, Melt (a Silicon Valley-based app startup), MapEx USA and is a mentor for the Branson Centre for Entrepreneurship – Caribbean, where he was one of only two external judges for their pitch day in 2014.
He was asked to endorse The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur by Mike Michalowicz, alongside Donny Deutsch, former host of CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. He contributed a chapter to the McGraw-Hill Publishing book, How To Make Money With YouTube, and was also a judge for Business.com’s What Works For Business contest in 2009. He is mentioned in the book Upstarts written by former Inc. Magazine contributing editor, Donna Fenn. He also wrote a weekly opinion column in the Jamaica Observer for over three years and was the first Future Leaders Representative for the USA on the Jamaican Diaspora Advisory Board.
Mr. Mullings completed his B.Sc. at the age of 19 and received his MBA in Marketing and International Business from the University of Miami at age 22.
He has played football (soccer) in Jamaica’s Major League for Real Mona F.C. and was a navigator for a rally team for more than a year.
