Foreign Minister Offers Condolence to Britain Following Terror Attack

Jamaica’s Foreign Minister, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith has expressed shock and dismay at the deadly attack in London’s Westminster today (Wednesday, March 22) and offered her condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Jamaica to the government and people of Great Britain.
Senator Johnson Smith said “Jamaica stands in solidarity with the people of Britain during this difficult time. To defeat terrorism we must be united, and my country commits to doing our part in helping to make this world a better and safer place for all of us.”
“We offer our prayers to the families and friends who have lost loved ones and wish for a speedy recovery to those persons who have been injured,” she added.
According to reports four persons were killed and 20 persons injured in a terror attack near the British Parliament.
