On Friday, September 7, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Honourable Pearnel Charles Jr. attended a ceremony for the unveiling of the statue of the Jamaican Cultural Icon, the Honourable Louise Bennett Coverly held in Gordon Town, St Andrew. The initiative was done to commemorate the 99th anniversary of her birth.
