HIGH COMMISSIONER OF BOTSWANA BIDS FAREWELL

His Excellency Charles Thembani Ntwaagae, outgoing High Commissioner of Botswana to Jamaica, paid a Farewell Call on Jamaica’s Foreign Minister late last week at the Ministry’s New Kingston offices.

“The Botswana/Jamaica relationship is very much appreciated, and I thank you for your efforts to further deepen the cooperation between us,” Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith shared with the High Commissioner.

In addition to discussing matters of mutual interest such as the cooperation in agriculture, human resource development, health, culture and sports as well as BREXIT, High Commissioner Ntwaagae brought greetings from Botswanian Foreign Minister, Her Excellency Pelonomi Venson-Moito, for Senator Johnson Smith.

Both diplomats also discussed the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), in London.
