Visas

Visas are issued through Jamaica’s network of consular posts located at our diplomatic and consular missions. Where a person holds a passport of a country whose nationals require a visa to enter Jamaica, the person must apply for a visa at the Jamaican consular post in the country where he lives or the nearest consular post (click here for overseas Missions). Nationals of certain countries are able to obtain their visas at the port of entry. It should be noted that having a visa does not grant anyone the right to enter Jamaica. The immigration officer at the port of entry has the final authority in this matter.
