Outgoing Ambassador of Costa Rica to Jamaica pays Farewell Call on Foreign Affairs Minister

The Minister commended the Ambassador for a successful tour of duty, noting that the Ambassador had contributed to the strengthening of relations between Jamaica and Costa Rica.

The Minister noted that the countries’ celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations, as well as the reactivation of connections with the Jamaican diaspora in Costa Rica, have elevated the partnership between the countries.

Matters related to Deep Seabed Mining, trade, security, agriculture and Candidatures were also raised.
