Foreign Minister receives the Copy Letters of Credentials from German Ambassador

Caption: Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith today (Jan 12) received the Copy Letters of Credentials of the German Ambassador-designate to Jamaica, Jan Hendrik Van Thiel.

 

The Minister noted that Jamaica and Germany have enjoyed good relations, noting the 60th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2022. Other issues discussed included: the Jamaican and German Automotive School, and culture, among other things.
