Jamaica and Colombia collaborate and unveil new mural for Kingston

Caption 9: On Friday, December 1, the Hon. Alando Terrelonge, Minister of State, for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, alongside Colombian Ambassador, H.E. Emiliana Bernard Stephenson, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Colombian and Jamaican Artists, Jota Art and Yanque Yip, respectively, unveiled a new mural in Walter Lane Art District in Jamaica’s creative city, Kingston.

He thanked the Govt & people of Colombia for the gift, which he said “symbolised the Jamaica-Colombia friendship; a shared commitment to the environment, and the creativity of our people.”

He also commended Kingston Creative for “their unending passion

to developing the art district.” He noted that Jamaica “will continue to partner with our creatives, govt agencies, city officials, and our bilateral partners to develop more murals and creative works throughout our creative city.”
