Jamaica and Namibia convene first Joint Committee

In congratulating Jamaica on its 60th Anniversary of Independence, Minister Hoebes shared that the theme Re-igniting a Nation for Greatness resonates with Namibia, who sees Jamaica as a world leader in various sectors including sports, gastronomy and culture.

The dignitaries also addressed the Jamaica-Namibia Joint Committee which is being held from Aug. 2-3 at the Foreign Ministry’s downtown headquarters.
