Jamaica’s Mission in Geneva hosts cultural event to celebrate Jamaica 60

Caption: The Permanent Mission of Jamaica to the Office of the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva, in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), hosted a cultural event on Thursday, July 14 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Jamaica’s Independence.

The event was preceded by the formal opening of the exhibition, “Jamaica at 60: Innovation and Cultural Creativity”, which showcased Jamaica’s contributions to, and tangible benefits from the development of the international intellectual property rights regime. The event was held in the

 margins of the 63rd Assemblies of Member States of WIPO on Thursday, July 14.
