The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is in the process of preparing Jamaica’s 21st -23rd State Party Report pursuant to the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. As part of its obligations under the Convention, Jamaica is required to provide a report on implementation of the provisions, in particular those incorporated in Articles 1 to 7 of the Convention.
In this regard, civil society organisations and other interested parties are invited to submit their views, supported by relevant data, on the Government of Jamaica’s implementation of the international treaty under reference. Please be advised that contributions should not exceed five pages.
Written comments should be submitted via email to the International Organisations Department (iodassistant2@mfaft.gov.jm and info@mfaft.gov.jm) by 19 January 2018.
