Johnson Smith discusses boosting the J-J Partnership during Copy Letters of Credentials Ceremony

Caption: Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith today (Jan 12) received the Copy Letters of Credentials of the Japanese Ambassador-designate to Jamaica, Mr. Yasuhiro Atsumi.

Minister Johnson Smith acknowledged the longstanding relations between Jamaica and Japan, noting that Japan is one of Jamaica’s strongest developmental partners. Some of the other matters that were highlighted included: increased cooperation in finance, investment, security and tourism, which would bolster the J-J Partnership.
