Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade received the Copy Credentials of Mexican Ambassador-designate, Mr. Juan Jose Gonzalez Mijares at the Ministry’s New Kingston offices on Wednesday, April 25.
Both dignitaries agreed that Mexico and Jamaica were natural allies in climate change and security, two areas in which our countries have active cooperation efforts underway.
They also discussed the planned JAMPRO Trade and Investment Mission to Mexico in the near future, as well as cooperation in energy.
