Korean Chargé d’affaires pays Farewell call on Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade

Caption: In bidding farewell to outgoing Charge d’ Affaires of the Republic of Korea to Jamaica, His Excellency Baejin Lim, Sen. the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, noted that the ambassador, “have ensured that Jamaica’s needs are considered” in all bilateral projects, evidenced in particular, by Korea’s support of Jamaica’s COVID-19 response – a support of USD$2Million worth of medical equipment and supplies.

 

For his part, Mr.  Lim noted that plans are in train to take the Jamaica/Korea relationship to the next level.
