The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade is advising that, in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, it is actively exploring with the regional agency CDEMA, as well as with our bilateral and international partners the options for assisting Jamaican nationals most adversely affected in the BVI, in particular Tortola, Sint Maarten & Saint Martin. We are also keeping ourselves briefed on the ongoing relief activities in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The Ministry is requesting that members of the Jamaican community and persons with information about nationals in the affected territories make urgent contact with the Ministry through the:
