Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith departed for Ottawa, for the first Canada-CARICOM Summit on Canadian soil.

 

On Tuesday (October 17), Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith departed for Ottawa, for the first Canada-CARICOM Summit on Canadian soil. The summit is being held for first time in over two decades. Canada has long-standing ties with many CARICOM countries on a wide range of shared priorities, including trade, security and defence, international assistance and governance.
