Public Service Announcement: Donation – Help to Bahamas

The Office of Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management (ODPEM) is advising the public that Jamaica as the Sub-Regional Focal Point for the North-Western Caribbean group which includes the Bahamas is coordinating an initiative aimed at providing support to the impacted islands of the Bahamas.
Given the logistical challenges to move supplies in a timely manner, we are only accepting cash donations to assist with relief at this time.

Your donations may be deposited to any branch of the National Commercial Bank.

  • Account Name: ODPEM DONATION ACCOUNT
  • Account Number: 212-387-304 (Oxford Road Branch)
  • Attach information: For The Bahamas Relief Fund

The Donation for the Bahamas initiative is in response to the devastation caused from Hurricane Dorian.
