Travel Tips for Jamaicans Travelling abroad
- Ensure that your passport is valid for at least six (6) months.
- A copy of the data page of your passport should be left with a relative/friend.
- Be aware of the immigration and customs regulations of the country that you are visiting.
- Have available the contact details (address, e-mail and telephone number) of your next of kin in Jamaica.
- Have available the contact details of a relative/friend or your party in the country that you are visiting.
- Prior to departure, ascertain the contact details of the nearest Jamaican High Commission, Embassy, Consulate General or Honorary Consul .
