The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) was established in 1964 as a permanent intergovernmental body. UNCTAD is the principal organ of the United Nations General Assembly dealing with trade, investment, and development issues. Jamaica is a member of UNCTAD.
The Conference is held every four (4) years and the 14th Session was held in Nairobi, Kenya from 17th to 22nd July 2016.
