Foreign Affairs Minister, Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith participated virtually in a National Policy Dialogue on Ending Violence Against Children.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith today (May 25) participated virtually in a National Policy Dialogue on Ending Violence Against Children.

In addressing the forum, the Minister reiterated Jamaica’s contribution to the #EndViolence Campaign, which she said, “reflects our solid commitment, not only as a Pathfinding country but as a country committed to the goal of ending violence against children”. She also noted the Ministry’s strategic partnerships with international partners in achieving the country’s national development goals.

The event was hosted by The Ministries of Education and Youth, and Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, as well as the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) in collaboration with UNICEF.
