Formal Opening of the 12th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith in her capacity as Coordinator of the African Caribbean and Pacific Group, participated today in a preparatory meeting of the Ministers of the Organization of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States ahead of the Formal Opening of the 12th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization.

During the meeting, the Group discussed critical issues of concern and sought to define/outline common positions ahead of the start of negotiations.

The Minister also had a bilateral meeting with Secretary General of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP).
