Jamaica and Namibia sign MoU on Cooperation in Tourism

The Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith at closing of Inaugural Jamaica-Namibia Joint Committee Meeting (August 3).

Minister Johnson Smith shared that practical next steps and concluding MoUs were agreed on around the following sectors: education, children and youth, sport, entertainment & the creative industries; agriculture, mining, energy, logistics, infrastructural & urban development, tourism, health, justice, Diaspora and ocean & maritime cooperation.

In her closing remarks, Minister Hoebes noted that, the Joint Committee “shared learned experiences to enrich our collective efforts to do better for our people. In the same way our generation hunger for political emancipation, the current generation hungers for economic emancipation.”
