Jamaica’s High Commissioner to South Africa presents Credentials to South African President

Caption: Jamaica’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Her Excellency Joan Thomas Edwards recently presented Credentials to the President of South Africa, His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, during a formal ceremony at the Sefako Makgatho Presidential Guest House in Pretoria.

 

Jamaica and South Africa established diplomatic relations on September 9, 1994. Since then, there has been a notable increase in bilateral activities between both countries, including high-level exchanges in pursuit of cooperation. The countries are seeking to share expertise and cooperate in areas such as culture and sports.
