Minister Johnson Smith & UNAIDS Executive Director Discuss Deeper Cooperation in Public Health

For her part, Ms. Byanyima who was joined by members of the UN team in Jamaica, including Dr. Garry Conille, UN resident coordinator, stated that UN stood in solidarity with Jamaica to explore strengthening its health sector, particularly to continue the downward trend of HIV cases in the region.

The Foreign Minister was also joined by Ministry of Health’s State Minister, the Hon. Juliet Cuthbert Flynn.
