Minister Johnson Smith receives 25 copies of ‘Kingston: A Treasure of the Caribbean’ on behalf of the Foreign ministry from CHASE Fund:

Minister Johnson Smith, on behalf of the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, July 8 received twenty-five copies (25) of Kingston: A Treasure of the Caribbean, written by David Buckley, with photographs from Kent Reid and produced by the CHASE Fund.

In receiving the books from W. Billy Heaven, CEO of the CHASE Fund, the Minister alluded to the “fascinating history of Kingston”, as she expressed satisfaction that the books are also being distributed among high schools and public libraries island-wide “making history accessible.”

The book, highlights landmarks and sites of architectural, historical, political and social significance, as it details the rich and colourful history of Kingston.
