Caption: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Sen the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, commended the Republic of Chile for its “impressive economic growth rate – which has recently been as high as 11.7%, in spite of the challenges and uncertainties of these past two years.” The Minister was speaking at a commemorative event marking Chile’s 212th Anniversary of Independence.
The Minister also shared that Jamaica/Chile Diplomatic relations are characterised by “dynamic
technical cooperation and frequent engagements, underpinned by mutual respect and understanding.”
