Johnson Smith holds discussions with UAE Ambassador to Jamaica

The Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister, Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, as she bid His Excellency (H.E.) Bader Almatrooshi, non-resident Ambassador, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Jamaica, at a farewell call on Thursday, October 20.

The Ambassador who observed that Jamaica’s representation at the World Expo in Dubai in February, 2022, was ‘excellent”, noted that Jamaica and the UAE both value tourism and the importance of sustainable development. Both diplomats agreed that there is great potential for a continued and strengthened Jamaica/UAE.
