Minister Johnson Smith holds bilateral talks with Canada’s Minister of International Trade, Mary NG

Caption: On the margins of the CARICOM-Canada Summit taking place on Canadian soil, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, and the Hon. Mary NG, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development for Canada, paused for a photo which followed productive bilateral discussions.

 

Discussions are being had with Canada to strengthen and improve trade and investment in Jamaica and across the wider Caribbean region. As global actors, CARICOM and Canada join forces to navigate geopolitical events including the triple threat of climate change, Covid-19, food and energy insecurity.
