Mr Juan Fernández Trigo, Secretary of State for International Cooperation for Latin America and the Caribbean and Spanish in the World, said that “Jamaica anticipates and welcomes a second wave of investment from Spain.” In addition to increased Spanish investment in the country, the Secretary of State, shared his plans for expanding Jamaica-Spain language cooperation programme.
