Minister Terrelonge receives courtesy call from Argentine Ambassador to Jamaica (Dec 18)

Caption: Honourable Alando Terrelonge, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, today received a Courtesy Call from Argentine Ambassador to Jamaica, His Excellency Marcelo Angel Balbi Calvo.

 

During the Courtesy Call, Minister Terrelonge expressed Jamaica’s eagerness to deepen cooperation in education and culture, with a heightened focus on music and dance, coupled with collaborative prospects in bilateral trade, agriculture and sports.

Earlier this year, Jamaica and the Republic of Argentina celebrated their 60th Anniversary of diplomatic ties. Jamaica extends its appreciation to Argentina for its support in the island’s election to the World Heritage Committee and the UNESCP Executive Board.
