Colombian Ambassador-designate presents Copy Letters to Permanent Secretary

Caption: Her Excellency Mrs. Emiliana Bernard Stephenson, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Colombia to Jamaica, presented her Copy Letters to Ambassador Sheila Sealy Monteith, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade on Thursday, June 22.

The dignitaries agreed that the Jamaica/Colombia relationship has strong historical and cultural ties grounded in cooperation in trade, in particular. They also agreed on further cooperation in the maritime and tourism industries, as well as on language training programmes and safeguarding the environment.
