Foreign Ministry hosts special event to mark UN Day 2023 (Oct 24)

Students from more than 16 schools who represented the UN Model, actively participated. During a Fireside Chat, they delved into the nuances of Jamaica’s multilateral diplomacy and its integral role within the UN.

This occasion fostered enriching discussions between students and key figures like Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Sen. The Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of State, the Hon. Alando Terrelonge coupled with representatives from the UN. Insights from UNDP Jamaica Resident Coordinator ad interim, Ian Stein and Model UN students added depth to the discourse.
