Jamaica’s High Commission in Ottawa hosted a Flag Raising Ceremony and a Church Service on to mark Jamaica’s 61st Anniversary of Independence.

Among the attendees at the Flag Raising Ceremony which was held on 4^th August, 2023 at City Hall, were Mr Mark Sutcliffe, Mayor of Ottawa, Mr Rawlson King, Councillor, Mr Paul Burnett, Deputy Chief of Police, members of the Diplomatic Corps, executive, Jamaica (Ottawa) Community Association.

The Church Service which was held on 6^th August, 2023 was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps, leading Jamaican-descendant clergy.
