Johnson Smith lauds Nigerian High Commissioner to Jamaica for distinguished service

Minister Johnson Smith has lauded High Commissioner Tamuno for the significant contributions she made to bolstering the warm and fraternal bond shared between Jamaica and Nigeria, citing the inaugural flight connecting Jamaica and Nigeria, from Lagos to Montego Bay, as testament to the Ambassador’s unwavering commitment to and dynamic efforts in enhancing Jamaica-Nigeria relations.

While also reflecting on the nations’ friendship, Ambassador Tamuno expressed her optimism for a future of continued partnership. She reiterated her commitment to continued advocacy for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in trade and culture, underscoring her dedication to these efforts, even upon her return to Nigeria.
