Johnson Smith meets with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Jamaica

Caption:  Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Foreign Affairs Minister received a courtesy call from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Jamaica, His Excellency Faisal Falah Alharbi on Wednesday, October 19.

The Minister also used the opportunity to express gratitude to Saudi Arabia for the assistance provided by the Government to CARICOM Member states during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With respect to cooperation between the countries, they also recalled the recent visit of a delegation of investors from Saudi Arabia to Jamaica in July, to hold discussions with the relevant Ministers as well as the recent signing of a MoU in the field of Tourism.
