Minister Johnson Smith Lauds Outgoing Japanese Ambassador Masaya Fujiwara for his Leadership & Guidance

Caption: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Sen. The Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, lauded outgoing Ambassador of Japan to Jamaica, H.E. Masaya Fujiwara, for his “sterling contribution to the very vibrant relationship that Jamaica and Japan continue to enjoy since 1964.”

 

Speaking at a reception in the diplomat’s honour, on Thursday, December 1, Minister Johnson Smith   shared that “agriculture and fisheries, education, local government, culture, health, renewable energy, smart city development, the environment and security were some of the sectors that benefitted from ambassador Fujiwara’s leadership and guidance.”
