Minister Johnson Smith meets with Jamaicans and Friends of Jamaica in Seoul

Caption : The Hon Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, met with Jamaicans in Korea and Friends of Jamaica, including Mr. Young-ki Moon, President of the Korea-Jamaica Friendship Association, on Oct. 9, prior to engaging in the 13th High-Level Forum on Korean-Caribbean partnership, now underway in Seoul.

 

The Minister notes the importance of this, her first working visit to the Republic of Korea, in October, the month in which Jamaica & Korea celebrate 61 years of diplomatic relationship.

Minister Johnson Smith has updated the Diaspora there on the socio-economic gains the country has been making in recent times and on its positive outlook for continued growth.
