Caption: Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith has extended a warm welcome to His Excellency Wang Yi, China’s Foreign Minister, who landed late Friday night (January 19).
During his visit to Jamaica, Minister Wang Yi will today pay a Courtesy Call on Prime Minister Holness, who will be accompanied by some of his Cabinet Ministers. His Excellency Wang Yi will also engage in a bilateral meeting with Minister Johnson Smith, who will later host him at private dinner in the company of other Cabinet Ministers.
Minister Wang Yi is also a Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and will depart the island on Sunday, January 21.
