New Zealand’s High Commissioner-designate present Copy of Credential Letters to Minister Johnson Smith

“The CARICOM/New Zealand cooperation on climate change demonstrates New Zealand’s open-mindedness and empathy towards Small Island Development States (SIDs), which is demonstrated through your polices” – Minister Johnson Smith during the presentation of Copy letters to her, from Mr. Anton Ojala, New Zealand’s High Commissioner-designate for Jamaica.


During the presentation at the Ministry’s New Kingston offices, both dignitaries having agreed that cooperation is largely on the multilateral level on climate change and the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), expressed the desire for increased bilateral cooperation.
