Ambassador-Designate to the People’s Republic of China pays Courtesy Call on Minister Terrelonge.

Caption: The Hon Alando Terrelonge, State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, in a Courtesy Call (Oct.10) with Ambassador-designate to the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Arthur Williams, expressed hope that the Ambassador will continue to “solidify the Jamaica-China relationship”

 

Minister Terrelonge underscored the importance of Economic Diplomacy when he encouraged the Ambassador, who was previously High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago, to explore increased export to China. In agreement, Ambassador Williams noted Chinese demand for niche fisheries and agricultural products, such as conch.

Both agreed that Bilateral Cooperation in sports education/training and culture, should be boosted.
