The PAHO DG was accompanied by the Minister of Health, Jamaica’s Chief Medical Officer and PAHO team members.
In speaking with the PAHO DG, Minister Johnson Smith stated that “the Foreign Ministry, since the pandemic, has been working closely with the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MoHW) and with PAHO’s support, has achieved much of its strategic targets in Jamaica’s COVID-19 Response. The Minister also shared that this successful partnership is an example of mulitlateralism in action.
