High Commissioner-designate to the UK pays Courtesy Call on Minister Terrelonge

Caption: State Minister with responsibility for Diaspora Affairs, the Hon. Alando Terrelonge, during his Courtesy Call with High Commissioner-designate to the United Kingdom, Mr. Alexander Williams, emphasised Jamaica’s push for increasing exports and broadening trade agreements with the UK and continuing its close relationship with Jamaicans in UK.

 

He also noted that Jamaica’s cultural product, including sport is integral to the international marketing of the country and promotion of industry opportunities. He said “Brand Jamaica is kept alive globally by virtue of our culture, which includes sport.”

The dignitaries shared plans for further capitalising on the Jamaica-UK goodwill, as well as continuing the engagement with the Diaspora.
