Johnson Smith meets with US Delegation

Caption: Senator the Honourable Kamina Johnson Smith, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and her team on Tuesday, January 16 met with the Assistant Secretary of Consular Affairs, Ambassador Rena Bitter; US Ambassador to Jamaica, H.E N. Nick Perry and Ms. Sara Minkara, Special Advisor on Disability Rights and other government officials from the US.

Both delegations used the opportunity to discuss consular matters of mutual interest.

They also reiterated their commitment to further strengthen the partnership between Jamaica and the US, while identifying other areas for cooperation and development.
